This styled shoot was the perfect mixture of everything I love about weddings, and photography. One of my favourite things to create with my work is juxtapositions of different styles. I loved the idea of pairing sweet bridals with the edginess of leather jackets. We actually used two of my own jackets that I knew would be the perfect fit (she rocked the blue one better than I can!). Another favourite contrast of mine was pairing something romantic, with something grungy. Posing Lauren and Chris up against mechanic garages and dive-y motels made their elegance stand out even more. I had those locations on a "MUST-SHOOT" list for ages, especially since I drive by them all the time.
I'm so over the moon with how these images turned out. The only thing we maybe would have changed was the unbearable cold, but we can't bad-mouth the terrible wind because it made for these amazing rooftop photos regardless. So grateful to my little team that made this feel not so hard to pull off! <3
