Ben + Erin / Downtown Second Floor Wedding

If anyone is wondering what it looks like to be whole-heartedly, intentionally, passionately, and freely yourself on a wedding day, these two souls can be a blueprint. It was not only an honour to be surrounded by so many dear childhood friends this day, but this wedding is the closest thing I’ve ever shot to what I would want my own wedding to feel like. It will stand out forever 🖤.

The bride and groom got ready together at their condo on King St W, not a 10-15 minute walk from their venue. It turns out that getting ready in this apartment was an even more significant choice, as they’ve since left the city to buy and home, and have these photos to commemorate their time. We walked up and down King West village taking portraits until their ceremony at Second Floor Events just as the sun was dipping down. One change of shoes into pink cowgirl boots later, it was time to party.
