When I think of joyous, colourful, togetherness, this wedding comes to the front of my mind. To be trusted with Tarisa and Emily’s love story was not an honour I took for granted. They’ve experienced countless wins together as well as weathered many storms and have emerged on the other side, stronger. Their love deserved the celebration of all celebrations!

The couple got ready together at an AirBnb in Niagara Falls, Canada. Bohemian and vintage decor sprinkled throughout made it the perfect spot for a wedding morning, and the backyard for an emotional first look (friends and family watching from a nearby window). The ceremony was held in a clearing at the vineyard, toasty and sunny but oh so worth it. There was hardly a dry eye in the place (including my own).

The reception included games, a taco truck, and endless cider. A stormy humidity threatened the outdoor affair with rain, but as per Canadian weather standards, it blew over as quickly as it came in, leaving us with the most delicious cotton candy sky for portraits. The only real casualty to the weather was the amazing cake turned ‘leaning tower of Pisa,’ handmaid by Tarisa’s sister. The couple topped the night off with surprise fireworks, and a dance party inside the Cidery with their chosen loved ones.
