Shaheen + Lauren / Toronto Beach Sunset Engagement Session

If I may be so bold: photographing at a beach is my favourite. Well, its in my top several favourites. The light always dances a little bit differently across the water, the sun creates slight different colours in the sky, and the waves move with the season. It’s just the best. Shaheen and Lauren (two perfect humans in love) opted for some beach photos here as they live on the east side of Toronto but also because it’s the best hidden gem around. They didn’t even bat an eye when I told them to sit on the ground in front of some sprinklers, just for fun. Because why not! Not only does the sherbet-coloured sky bring me immense joy and feel like the inside of a painting, but the slightly Roman-esque vibes of the buildings made me feel like I was photographing at a piazza. Perhaps I’m reading too much into it? I really love this session, is what I’m saying.
