Tian + Daisy / ROM Toronto Wedding
Buckle up for one the most unique venue themes a wedding could have - DINOSAURS. Specifically, the dinosaur wing of the Royal Ontario Museum. When Daisy (an old University pal) told me her and her fiancé Tian were getting married at the ROM in February, I was ecstatic. Not only rad, but a winter wedding where nobody has to freeze their toes off? Always a bonus.
Daisy got ready with her mother, in-laws, and her and Tian’s fur child, at the Toronto condo in one of the most calm mornings ever. The first look was also a personal favourite - in this cozy yet grand stairwell at the ROM. The museum was filled with the most unique photo opportunities everywhere we looked, and we had a blast touring around taking romantic portraits with our guide.
The ceremony space was put together by “Love by Lynzie” Events, and in true LBL fashion, it was unbelievable. These ladies know their design and DIY. Also, Tade from The Marrying Lady is one of the funniest officiants you’ll have the pleasure of listening to. After an emotional and adorable exchanging of the vows, Tian and Daisy kicked off the party with endless goodies, an osyter bar, cocktails, cake-cutting and dancing, all under the watchful eye of our prehistoric friends. It was my first wedding of 2020, and it did NOT disappoint.
