Trevor + Delray / Summer Orchard Wedding

The significance Trevor and Delray’s wedding dates back loooong before their actual big day. It probably starts somewhere in 2014, when we all began school at Humber for Photography. Photography literally brings people together, guys! It’s so special to get to know a couple before and after they became a couple, and its extra special when they’re photographers themselves.

D & T got ready in separate areas of a family friend’s old farmhouse near Milton, complete with an apple orchard in full bloom. So much of the property had been upgraded by the owners, and their hard work was evident - it was the perfect spot. The couple chose to do a first look privately, and while they were at it, decided to exchange vows as well. It was hard not to get teary-eyed as we watched from a distance and snapped away. The sun came out for their official ceremony (mildly blinding, but it’s fine). And their reception consisted of food trucks, tons of DIY decor, me chatting with my old classmates, and was topped off with fireworks. Also, dancing the night away like it was the 21st of September (it was).
