These two high school sweethearts (from MY high school, no less) tied the knot on a perfect, sunny July Wednesday. Yes, a Wednesday. Because the pandemorama caused so many shifts, delays, and reschedules, that a weekday really was the solution. And was it ever BEAUTIFUL.

Lexa-Rae got ready at Base & Co, the salon that one of her maid of honours owns, and then back home to get dressed, where she did a sweet first look with her grandparents. Dan spent his morning at a local Cambridge hotel with his brother and best friends, and from what I can gather from the photos - they were a fun bunch.

You’ll notice both the ceremony and reception space were like, out of this world right? A stunning collaboration with her florist Naira. It was whimsical, unique, and the perfect backdrop for their vows, and later, the party.

It was such an honour to photograph the wedding of fellow Crusaders (was that our mascot?? It’s been over a decade) and see so many warm, familiar faces. Like, so many that I almost couldn't leave at the end of the night. I would have stayed and partied with them until the wee hours if I wasn’t so elderly and incapable of such cool activities on a school night ;)
