Michelle + Blake Modern Backyard Micro Wedding

Continuing the theme of beautiful backyard weddings: 2021 edition!

Michelle and Blake got hitched on a Friday in her parents’ backyard, in perfect September weather. If I recall correctly - it also happened to be on or around her parents’ anniversary! Nothing like some extra good juju on your wedding day. The party was relaxed, and full of laughter (and beer - did you see that canoe??). Shoutout to Mother Nature for gifting us a cloud just for the ceremony to save my clients from squinting through their vows, and then coming back just in time for a juicy golden hour. We lucked out in terms of locations too; the Halton Hills/Milton escarpment was quite literally across the street from the venue, and the beautiful bridge location was just behind where their ceremony was held. And now I’m wondering if I can just continue show up to shoot in that field below the escarpment forever…
