Stefania + Riley / Ethereal Forest Equestrian Wedding
Stefania and Riley had to move their wedding multiple times due to Covid, and finally they landed on the most beautiful warm September day with as many of their loved ones as they could squeeze in. It was colourful, whimsical, and full of energy.
The bride got ready at her parents house - around the corner from where I grew up and trick-or-treated many times as a child LOL. But I already knew that going in, since I’ve gone to school with Stefania and her sister (and most of her bridal party) since elementary school. So the nostalgia of all of us being in our old neighbourhood again was so special. Riley got ready with his pals at him and Stefania’s uber cool condo downtown Guelph before finishing up at the venue.
We orchestrated a precious first look and wedding party photos in the private forest path in between where the horsies are and the actual event space. Pre-ceremony I ran around photographing all the out of this world details. The lemons and tablscapes were laced with a little bit of Italian inspiration, and Hilary from Wildwood absolutely nailed every floral decoration around the venue. It’s always a pleasure to capture her work. And that neon sign?? C’MON. So rad.
The weather was so wonderful all day and we of course couldn’t resist sneaking out at dusk to be photobombed by some horses. Then all that was left was to eat, drink, and dance the night away.
Honourable mention: the late-night pizza delivery guy rocking a Mandolin mask. Well done, sir.
