Shaheen + Lauren / Langdon Hall Wedding

*SPEECHLESS*

That’s how I felt during the entirety of Shaheen and Lauren’s Langdon Hall wedding. If I had to come up with words though, I would say Lauren and her amazing team of vendors at Love by Lynzie reached into my brain and pulled out my own personal dream wedding. Fair warning: it’s possible this gallery will make you speechless too.

The bride wore a winning combo - a Loversland gown, a pearl-encrusted cape, and a mixture of new and vintage heirloom jewelry. Both the bride and groom got ready at Langdon Hall, with Shaheen in the hotel rooms and Lauren in one of their stand alone cottages. Neither had a traditional wedding party, just their loved ones nearby. I also LOVED being able to bounce back and forth between them, depending on what was happening at the time. That’s the thing with photographing solo, it’s very intuitive as there’s only one of you.

When it came time for the ceremony, the set-up in the courtyard looked breathtaking. However, the forecast looked a little less so. The incredible planners made a game-time decision to move the ceremony into the reception area (the wooden pavilion) and honestly - it was even more breathtaking somehow. Every detail of the florals and decor was so immaculate, I literally couldn’t stop photographing the tables LOL. Post-ceremony, the drizzle had subsided and we adventured around the grounds and garden of Langdon. Towards the end, the sun decided to peak out through the clouds completely unexpectedly. The couple then rejoined their eagerly awaiting guests and were met with applause as their entered their reception space. They laughed, ate (the food at Langdon is TO DIE FOR BTW), and danced the night away. These two have such large chunk of my heart for being truly some of the warmest and friendliest folks I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. It’s taking everything in my power not to force them to be my best friends (unless maybe we should just be best friends?? Guys??)
