Patrick + Jen / Intimate New Hamburg Engagement

Today’s edition of “super delayed blog post”: Patrick, Jennifer, and their pandemic engagement session!

One of the few things I was able to still photograph with little to no covid restrictions this past year was engagements, and I enjoyed every second of them. For P + J we chose New Hamburg, where they live, and really did our best to soak up all the corners this cute little town has to offer. We started out at their lovely home for some around-the-house cozy shots. I loved how ready to get creative they were, as shooting indoors/at home has a different set of both limitations and opportunities than outdoors. They led me to the trail down the street where the golden hour light was hitting just perfectly. We shot there until the sun was aaalmost fully dipped behind us, and then took a quick jaunt into the downtown core. “Downtowns” of any city just really know what’s up, right? This little bistro provided us with some romantic/European vibes, that we timed perfectly as the sun had set and the string lights shone.
