Pauline + Wai / Scotsdale Farm Engagement

Pauline + Wai are little city-goers (like myself) who currently reside in Toronto. But for their engagement session, Pauline envisioned a beautiful outdoorsy scene. In fact, the term “frolicking in a field” may have been used. I took it as the perfect opportunity to visit Scotsdale Farm for the first time, and it was as good as everyone says it is. My only was concern was that it is a bit well-known for being a popular shooting location for films & TV. I even noticed an announcement about a filming schedule on their website, beginning just a couple days after we planned to shoot. Luckily, any crew that was setting up hardly affected our session. And this place is so big/has so many photogenic corners, that there’s no issue running into the other photographers around, rightfully taking advantage of this super cool location as well (hi Kendra Ruth Photography!). I absolutely loved photographing these two here, and was so pumped that even with the impending stormy-blue hour towards the end of our session, we squeezed every last bit of a light the day had to offer before dusk took over.
