Patrick and Jennifer had a beautifully intimate Covid-wedding amongst their kids, family, and friends, on a crisp fall day last November. I’ve photographed weddings at the Walper in previous years, and it always lives up to being a very rad spot. The rooms have unique and stylish decor and excellent lighting, which makes finding backdrops for photos SO easy.

These two had such a relaxed morning getting ready (note the boys playing with toys) followed by an adorably tearful first look on the hotel terrace. I can’t tell you how many times I smiled while editing those photos! The rest of the romantic portraits for the day essentially checked every kind of box - editorial, candid, cityscape, nature, indoor, golden hour. I love a photographically diverse gallery!

The ceremony was just as tearful and heartwarming as their first look, with their immediate loved ones in attendance and the rest observing from Zoom. Afterwards, they celebrated with a champagne toast and cocktail-style eats before mingling the night away. Before I headed out, I got to catch up with past clients of mine (now pregnant with their first bebe!) which always warms my heart. I love working my way through friend groups and their milestones, because there’s always a friendly face at the next one ;)
