Pastel Moonrise Bridal Shoot
This styled shoot (like many this year) had to deal with the ever-changing roller coaster of a pandemic. It was rescheduled and rescheduled, until July of this year when all our amazing vendors could come together safely again. This shoot really was the brainchild of my extremely talented florist friend Vanja (GreenBloom Design), and I could not believe how all of her hard work and ideas came to fruition. That ceiling installation is NO JOKE.
In her words, the pastel tones and sun bleached florals of this bohemian styled shoot were inspired by the end of a beach day well spent, soaking up love and sunshine. As the sun bids you goodbye and washes the sea and sky with a warm pink glow. The moon grows brighter in the sky, ready to cast its glow on the night. Its beauty often overshadowed by the Sun's setting rays, this shoot pays homage to the moon + all of its wonders, as it rises to light up the way for lovers in the night.
The gowns provided by Tilted Veil were the absolute perfect combination for our vision - hip, whimsical, and romantic. The jewelry was kept understated and earthy, complimenting the moonrise theme. Subtle and soft pops of colour warmed up the session. There was loads of DIY throughout the whole shoot as well, keeping many items as sustainable as possible.
